Resolved - Between 2022-09-16 12:00 UTC and 2022-09-20 21:00 UTC, some customers experienced issues opening attachments such as Docs, PDFs, Spreadsheets. The issue has been resolved and the service is operating normally.

Monitoring - We have tested the fix and deployed this. Attachments can now be opened normally and we are monitoring the affected services to ensure they are working normally.

Identified - We are investigating reports of intermittent errors when trying to open Attachments (Docs, PDFs, Spreadsheets) for some Jira Software, Jira Work Management, and Jira Service Management Cloud customers. We have identified the root cause and are working on a permanent fix for the issue. We will provide another update as soon as we finish the permanent fix implementation tests.

Resolved - We identified 2507 sites showing Data Residency Location as Global instead of the specific location to which the sites are pinned on Admin panel. We identified this issue specific to UI only and fix has been applied to all affected sites.

Identified - We have identified 2507 sites have been affected by an issue, where the Admin panel UI will show the Data Residency Location as Global instead of the specific location to which the sites are pinned. The AWS region shows accurate information about where the data is located. We've identified the root cause and affected sites will be updated soon.

Resolved - Between 8/9/2022 23:00 UTC to 14/9/22 10:30 UTC, customers experienced garbled characters in site and app notifications when using non english ASCII character sets for Confluence and Jira Software. The issue has been resolved and the service is operating normally.

Addendum: Please note that despite service being restored old notifications were not able to be fixed, nor are they recoverable. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.
